Minutes
of February meeting:
Having been read by members, were agreed as a
true record and signed by Mary M.
Matters
Arising & Feedback from Events:
Questionnaires. Mary thanked everyone for completing
these. Results mostly positive. We will use the suggestions in our planning
for the year ahead.
Potential Name Change. Mary has managed to speak to nearly all
members. There was a huge majority in
favour of pursuing this possible change.
Others didn’t mind either way. We
would like to keep something to indicate our location and ‘WI’ in the possible
new name. Please give it some thought
and send your suggestions to Mary or bring them to the April meeting. The committee will look at these at their May
meeting and bring it all for discussion by all members at the May AGM. If the decision is to go ahead the next step
will be to speak to County.
Potential Book Club. Some members are interested. Hope to set it up soon.
Camerton Court Garden Visit. Interesting morning. Gardens larger than expected and much more to
see than just snowdrops. Would like to
go back for a summer visit but all visits need to be pre-booked.
