Notes on Leigh
on Mendip WI “Virtual” Meeting – Monday 11 May 3pm, online via “Zoom”
May is normally the month for our AGM and Resolutions but in these
very different times this was not to be.
10 members joined in for our virtual meeting.

Mary had sent an e-mail in advance to
bring members up to date with as much information as possible. Many activities over the coming months have
had to be cancelled or postponed.
As a reminder orders for Bulbs need to
be returned to Mary by 26 May.
Members chatted about what they have
been doing. The VE celebrations were on
Friday, 8 May. No main events could take
place but some people in the village were able to sit in their front gardens
and at a safe distance enjoy a drink with their neighbours. War-time Recipes had been posted on the
Village Website and a few members had tried them out – with varying degrees of
success! Any photos of these or
activities members have been involved with please send to Mary or Jan to post
on the Blog.
