Record of
Leigh-on-Mendip WI Meeting - Monday 13th December 2021 at 7.30 in Memorial
Hall
Caroline thanked everyone for coming out and attending. She
then went through the COVID guideline safety measures, hands, space, face plus
a recommended Lateral Flow Test (For those able) and thanked all for following.
She then introduced Jacquelyn Bevan from Trio Paradis, who
came along to introduce herself and talk about her initiative for bringing
music out to the local villages.
Currently based and performing around Frome and Bradford-upon-Avon, she
is part of a group of musicians, comprising violin, piano and cello, playing
Classical music and Show Tunes. The idea is to create a community event. All
that is asked is for a donation or a cake.

Led by Karen S who organized a team, designed &
